- Fast procedures: More confidence in sample verification allows for fast biopsy procedures, which
frees up resources. - Optimized technologist workflow: Little to no manual handling post -biopsy helps maintain sample
integrity from patient to pathology, improving technologists’ workflow and freeing time for other
procedures. - Fewer steps: Advanced tissue handling automatically separates samples for pathology.
- Improved sample identification: Separates and identifies samples with a 12-chamber tissue filter
to provide guidance for pathology. - Patient satisfaction: Fast procedures mean less time under compression for the patient, which
can result in a more positive biopsy experience.
- It has a Tungsten X-ray lamp with a small focus of up to 50μm and a current of 1mA to operate at low radiation levels as well as a KV range of at least 20-35 KV, in order to achieve high contrast in the imaging of tissue samples.
- Features a maximum exposure of 10 mAs and 125 µm beryllium filtering.
- The pixel size and output image are 20 µm and 12 bit respectively, while the active imaging area is 3.3 cm x 2.5 cm.
- Cycle time is 8 seconds for capture, display and verification.
- Display is 15 inch (38.1 cm), W x GA (1366 x 768), with color LCD and touch screen.
- Finally, the disposable needle specifications are 14 in L x 2 in W x 1.25 in H (35.6 cm x 5.1 cm x 3.2 cm).
